RescueLogic™ Product Solutions

If your job involves fire protection, security systems, facility management, or emergency response, then you need RescueLogic™ software.

Fire Safety
RescueLogic™ — formerly known as Cadgraphics — was first developed to work with fire alarm systems in 1988. Now it's a time-tested tool for fire safety and response.

Applications:

  • See alarms in real time. RescueLogic™ automatically shows alarms and devices, color-coded by status,  on maps and floor plans of your facility. You can use your existing CAD maps, floor plans, or digital photos as the backdrop for your RescueLogic™ system.

  • Zoom in and out. You can zoom in and zoom out of maps and floor plans with just a touch, so you can get a closer look at any area that needs attention.

  • Customize your own "Take Action" messages. In any emergency, RescueLogic™ automatically displays prioritized response suggestions — so responders will always know which steps to take first. Customizing your site’s emergency instructions is as easy as entering text into a word-processing document.

  • Say it in Spanish. RescueLogic™ also comes with hundreds of "Take Action" suggestions in both English and Spanish. Other languages are no problem, either: With RescueLogic™ , you can include information in any language — even languages like Russian and Chinese — as long as you have a True Type font that includes the alphabetical characters you need.

  • Standardize and update your facility's emergency procedures. As you customize your RescueLogic™ system, you'll update and standardize your system-wide emergency procedures, too.

  • Meet NFPA code requirements. RescueLogic™ meets NFPA 72 standards. NFPA code requirements are the basis for most state and local fire safety regulations.

On-Site Security Systems
In the last 10 years, RescueLogic™ software has evolved to become a valuable tool for security guards, too.

Applications:

  • Streamline your fire and security systems. RescueLogic™ can read all of the data from all of your alarm panels — regardless of who manufactured them — and combine that data into a single, "one look"  interface.

  • Monitor your security network. With RescueLogic™ , you can list and locate every mechanism and device in your facility, including card access doors and guard tour stations.

  • Connect to network video. Simply enter the location of any camera in your facility, and RescueLogic™ will automatically display its network  video feed.

  • Link to important web sites. Let your staff have full access to the news and information they need, by linking directly to Internet sites for emergency news, HazMat information, and your corporate intranet. RescueLogic™ will open the websites you select, but keep your staff from surfing to non-essential sites.

  • Print post-event reports. RescueLogic™ makes it simple to reconstruct emergency events after the fact, both to verify that the proper steps were taken and to improve future responses. RescueLogic™ automatically compiles printable reports of alarms and events exactly as they occurred.

Facility Management
RescueLogic™ will put you in control of every alarm, device, and panel on your site — no matter who manufactured them, or when they were installed. You'll be able to monitor all of your building technology in a single, streamlined interface, all from a standard personal computer.

Applications:

  • Include data from your HVAC and building control systems. RescueLogic™ can access data from any "smart" alarm, device, or zone, and include it in its single, streamlined interface. You can also use RescueLogic™ to monitor temperature alarms, water sensors, fan shutdown alarms, eye wash stations, AC failure alarms, freezer alarms, gas alarms, and nurse call systems.

  • Print maps and floor plans. In addition to being a valuable addition to your safety and security system, RescueLogic™ 's maps and floor plans are a helpful resource for your building, grounds, and maintenance crew; simply print them out and attach them to your  work orders.

  • Streamline your building records. With easy-access notes and comments, you can record routine maintenance and repairs in your RescueLogic™ system.  RescueLogic™ is also an easy way to note important details that might otherwise be lost — such as a room's paint color, or the size of an air filter.

  • Access information for any number of buildings. RescueLogic™ can display information from alarms and devices in any number of facilities — even an entire city. Information can be sorted by zone, group, building, floor, or area.

Homeland Security

RescueLogic™ gives firefighters, police officers, and other first responders the information they need to work together in a crisis. RescueLogic™ automatically displays maps, floor plans, alarm data, photos, videos, emergency instructions, and more. It's a valuable tool for homeland security planners, and an ideal defensive weapon in the war on terror.

Applications:

  • Give rescuers information on demand. RescueLogic™ is so intuitive that most people can use the software without any special training. First responders can use RescueLogic™ to assess emergency situations quickly, and coordinate their rescue and law-enforcement efforts accordingly.

  • Go wireless. With RescueLogic™, fire, police, and rescue workers can see what's happening from a security station in a building or from a remote connection. They can even access the information from a wireless laptop while they're still en route to an emergency.

  • Gauge the path of danger. Because alarms appear on maps and floor plans in real time, firefighters can determine the best route to enter a burning building and put out a fire. Police and security guards can also review the course of alarms and detectors to determine if intruders are making their way through a facility — so they can stop them in their tracks.

  • Offer additional details. With RescueLogic™  you can map and display the location of on-site rescue equipment, hazardous materials, and more.

  • Make note of special needs.  It's easy to add important alerts to your RescueLogic™ system. For example, if someone on your site uses a wheelchair, you can note that fact — along with location details and contact information for that person. RescueLogic™ will notify police, fire, and rescue workers that he or she may need help during an emergency.

RescueLogic™ works with standard personal computers, laptops, touch screen computers, printers, local area networks, and wireless networks. There's no need to invest in expensive new computer equipment.
